Exoplanet Chess is a new way to begin a familiar game. Instead of starting with a full army on the board, each player brings pieces into play when strategy calls for them.
The idea

Exoplanet Chess grew from a simple question: what if chess kept every piece’s classic powers, but gave players freedom to create the opening?
The answer is a game where two kings begin on the board and every other piece waits off-board. Each turn becomes a meaningful choice between moving a piece already in play or bringing in a new one when it is needed.
The result is a chess experience built for curious minds: easy to understand, rich in possibilities, and always focused on the timeless objective of checkmate.
